Say A Prayer For The Nofziger's Tonight

Sad news today, that conservative hero Lyn Nofziger has passed.

More on this to come, but for now just the acknowledgement that it is this sort of news that puts all of our day-to-day efforts into perspective.

UPDATE: If anyone would like to share their memories of Lyn, please email us.

Out of nostalgia, I’ve been reading back through Lyn’s famed “Musings,” his blog, before it became all the rage to blog.

I’ve also pulled his self-titled memoirs off the shelf, as it’s probably about time to give it another read.

And, for those who enjoy witty verse, Lyn’s, er Joy Skilmer’s, Unbridled Joy is a classic.

Lastly, for anyone who likes Westerns, while I've never read them, I've just ordered Lyn's "Tackett" series online.

Definitely worth a prayer because Lyn was a very good guy. As a side note and a bit of trivia, he was the editor of the Burbank Daily Review which was my hometown newspaper and his sports editor was Larry Levine, now a prominent Democratic consultant.
