Are You Now or Have You Ever Been a Member of the Republican Party?

Arnold should Switch Parties if he proposes a massive bond and gives Tookie Williams a clemency. What does being a "Republican" mean if you propose bond measures and give mercy to killers?

Also, let's get rid of the phrase, "fiscally conservative and socially moderate." What this phrase means is that you don't have any principles and decide policy wherever the political wind blows.

Arnold is not a "fiscal conservative." He is a fiscal moderate to liberal. The Dems are outright socialist/red.

The anger that propelled the recall movement needs to be revived. Let the Democrats have the Governorship. My impression is that the Democrat's top political agendas are for Illegals, gays, and more spending.

They will propose drivers license to illegals, expanded health-care to illegals, expanded public education to illegals, job protection to illegals, gay marriage, gay adoption, gay public schools, gay drivers license, gay, illegal, gay, illegal, gay, illegal, gay, illegal, gay, illegal, more spending on something, gay, illegal, gay, illegal, more spending on something, bonds, increasing "fees" etc.

Maybe we can bring another tax revolt in California by dragging California to the ground first. I really don't like this idea but we are incrementally becoming a socialist state. I have given up on the idea of having a "Republican majority" fixing fiscal problems. Look at congress made up of majority "Republicans" that clasify themselves as "conservatives" and "fiscal conservative and social moderates." Spend, Spend, Spend is the agenda.

Oh God...here we go again. Blame everything on the gays and the illegals. Lest you forget, too large part of our economy is based on illegal labor that people don't want to pay attention too and more of this Party than you'd like to admit are homosexual. We Republicans are a minority in this state. We need to advance values that are to our core...fiscal conservatism. Californians trust the Republican Party to ensure that every dime of the state's money is being spent wisely. Do we need infrastructure development in this state? Absolutely! Should we float a bond of this measure as we're still trying to pay off previous bond measures that nearly sank our state 1 1/2 years ago? Absolutely not!

We must live within our means...not spend lavishly on money we don't have. That should be our Party's message...leave the gay-bashing and immigrant hating for your CRA conventions.

oxychaz, didnt you know that gay and brown bashing is the way the conservatives have achieved victory in.....err....

Umm.....

Hmmm...

Ok, so i cant remember the last time a gay and brown bashing conservative has won any seat of value in California, but hey, it makes for fun blogging.

I will take a libertarian minded fiscal conservative over a wingnut loonball any day of the week.

As would California, if ever given the chance.

Well I do hope the republicans can work to provide a better health care system, as millions of americans lack coverage.

The point I was making was that it seems the CA Dems top political agendas are to implement special rights for gays and illegals when we have some major fiscal problems to deal with ... and by giving them the Governorship ... they would overeach and give conservatives an opportunity to govern.

Being against gay marriage does not equate to "gay bashing," and opposing special rights to illegals does not mean "immigrant hating."

Lamer, define "brown and gay bashing." If you mean opposing giving special rights to illegals and gays ... virtually every Republican has run on that platform. Even Arnold to a certain extent.

Arnold has a Lesbian Chief of Staff. Maria has a Gay Chief of Staff. Get over it wingers, let's stop worrying about orientation & get in the Governor's face on out of control spending.

I see lots of Kool-Aid drinking here...

That Bond should be the focus, that is major league bad news. Who cares if his COS is gay... her homosexuality is much less a problem for me than that bond.

Look at my name, and realize that your broad brush painted me, too. Incorrectly, I might add.
