Must Be Nice to Work on a Fully Funded Campaign
Like, for example, the Yes on 78/No on 79 effort. Their first TV ads are on the air now.
Lead consultant Frank Schubert knows how to win these health care measures...and with the firepower he has behind him with PhRMA stepping up, I think the Yes on 78, No on 79 campaign effort is looking pretty good.

Who did the "people like me" ads?
Actually, what might be an interesting idea for this site - being that lots of dollar and lots of points are going to be put behind lots of ads - would be to take ads as they come on air, and break them down/analyze them a bit.
I, for one, would be most fascinated to get you guys' takes on whether these guys are earning their considerable paychecks or not!
Gale Kaufman's shop did the "people like me" ads, I think, but as far as the actual media production, I forget who she uses.
Kaufman does nothing in-house including this ad produced my Ray McNally
interesting...
what does anybody think about the ad's effectiveness?
I did not mean to imply that Gale "did" the ads as in producing or directing. I am sure she had a hand in the script and messaging. I work the same way.
I am not sure if the ads are effective...I thought the teacher/school funding ads were more effective that the "like me" ads. Too much "in speak" in this series of ads for my taste.
Of course. Gayle obviously doesn't serve as gaffer for her own ads, but this answered my question of who's brainchild they were.
As an insurance agent, only supporting Dr. Phil Kurzner is higher on my list than yes on 78, no on 79.
Phil Kurzner
AHAHAHAHAHAHA
The first Yes on Prop 77 ad I've seen can be previewed on joinarnold.com. It's pretty funny - it has a legislator falling out of a hammock
