GOP Polling on Immigration

It seems that the State GOP/Assm Rep. Caucus are polling this week on immigration. Why they need to pay Frank Luntz $100,000 (nothing against Frank) to tell them that immigration is a white hot issue, I don't know.

What a waste of money. Here in the race for the 48th CD, this is the number one issue going away.

I agree that it seems to be an exorbitant amount of money to have the obvious stated -- But ---

It also should appear abundantly clear that the Republican party moves extremely slow on issues, generally. I suppose it is better to spend some money having the convincement of the party expedited.

the dirty secret is that KM and his team go through money faster than babies through diapers, most of it promoting him and not on candidates. His caucus should be asking for updates on how much they've raised and what it's being spent on. But then again, maybe they don't want to know the truth...

If they actually spent money on campaigns, they wouldn't have the excuse that they needed to get behind self-funding but inept candidates because the caucus had no money.

A good, comprehensive state-wide poll on illegal immigration would cost in the vacinity of $20K... that leaves Luntz with $80K to divvy up with the stooge who authorized the poll... a great way to make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
